Save the Date: Book Release Party and Signing! Wednesday, August 17th at 6 pm
Our beloved former Faith Formation Director, Shannon Kearns, has a book coming out this August and we get to celebrate with him! Save the date for the book release party and signing of  “In the Margins: A Transgender Man’s Journey with Scripture”. This event will be held at St. Peder’s on Wednesday, August 17th at 7 pm.  This special evening will consist of storytelling and reading from the book, as well as time for Q&A. We’ll also hear music from Kith + Kin Chorus, an uncommon choir in the Twin Cities, which strives to build community, spread joy and give in service to others through harmony. After the program there will be a reception and book signing.  Online or bookstore price is $19.99 but you can order a book through St. Peder’s  to get a special discounted bulk price of $17.(Sign up sheet in the office.) . This will be a great chance to see Shannon in person as he has now moved to Kansas! We will be using this book for a book study in the fall, and Shannon has agreed to join us by Zoom for the first session.  Order now, and finish the book before the study begins!
