Rev. Eric Luedtke, Pastor, Rev. Eric J Luedtke, Interim Pastor, is a Minnesota native who has served as an ELCA pastor since graduating from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, Berkeley, California in 2010. Pastor Eric’s passion for ministry is rooted in his baptismal calling as a child of God. He has served in diverse ministry settings as a drummer, youth minister, congregational leader, and Pastor across the United States and in Australia and New Zealand. Before heeding the call to ordination, Pastor Eric worked in a variety of industries – including radio broadcasting, customer service, event planning, and infomercial logistics – all of which have helped prepare him for the daily diversity of life as a pastor. With a love of learning through travel and experiencing different cultures, Pastor Eric stays grounded doing odd jobs around his house, creating a meal for his family -wife Stephanie, daughters Olivia and Elena- and watching hockey any chance he gets.
Mia Kruse, Organist and Music Ministry Coordinator, recently moved here from Huron, South Dakota, where she worked as the Director of Orchestras for the Huron Public Schools. As the orchestra director, she taught beginning 4th grade strings as well as high school orchestra. Mia has spent over 15 years serving as a music director, choir director, organist, and leader of children’s music ministry in various churches throughout South Dakota and Michigan. She grew up in rural Minnesota and received a Bachelor of Music degree from Concordia College, Moorhead in piano performance. Over the past twenty years she has led a busy life as a private piano and vocal teacher, freelance performer, church musician, and mother of four.
Jeannie Farrell, Office Coordinator, joined St. Peder’s in April of 2018. She lives in the West 7th neighborhood of St. Paul with her partner, two girls and a dog named Martin. Jeannie loves to garden and be outdoors. When she is not getting her hands dirty, she enjoys reading and spending time with her clan. For the past few years she have been a stay at home mom and prior to that worked with seniors and volunteers in the non-profit sector and also taught a senior exercise class.
Debbie Wolking, Accounts Manager, has been at St. Peder’s since the spring of 2013. She has a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota, and returned to the Carlson School of Management in 2012 to study Accounting. She has worked at neighborhood-based nonprofits in the Longfellow, Seward and Cedar Riverside neighborhoods for over 30 years. She enjoys doing accounting work to support the leadership of St. Peder’s and all of the members to make decisions based on accurate and timely financial information. In her free time she enjoys gardening, bike riding, knitting, reading and spending time with her three beautiful granddaughters.
