Music has long held a vital role in the worship and ministry of St. Peder’s. Through the unique language of song, our musicians strive to explore and express our daily call to live out the Gospel. Embracing our faith mission, we welcome all with open hearts to join us in song.
Choir Kicks off this Fall 2022!
St. Peder’s Choir will be a regular part of our Sunday morning worship services again! ALL ARE WELCOME! You need not be a soloist to join the choir, simply a desire to make music with others. I know there are people sitting in the pews with beautiful voices (I can hear you!) so come join us in the choir loft!
We will kick off the new choir season with a rehearsal on Thursday, September 15th at 6 pm, in preparation for the installation of our new pastor, Bryan Odeen. Please watch the bulletin for more details. Regular rehearsals will be held on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Contact Mia Kruse for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org
DO YOU PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?
We would love to include you in worship, either with a few others or for a solo. Contact our Music Ministry Coordinator, Mia Kruse, email@example.com
St. Peder’s Choir
Celebrates it’s Lutheran choral heritage contributing weekly anthems and liturgical music to worship. The choir’s dedication to musical excellence accompanies a strong commitment to fostering a unique singing community. In both Advent and Lent, the chorus presents a masterwork with chamber instrumentalists and prides itself on exploring diverse repertoire ranging from the Baroque to Gospel.
Solo Vocal and Instrumental Music
Solo vocalists and instrumentalists generously share their time and talents at St. Peder’s. Whether interested in contributing special music for the 9 a.m. worship or summer services, or hoping to collaborate with the St. Peder’s Choir, we invite you to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn about opportunities.
Sunday School Music
Believing in music education opportunities for all youth, St. Peder’s weekly Sunday School begins with 10 minutes of music games and singing. All youth share their young voices throughout the year in special worship services including the annual Children’s Advent Pageant.
